Last Saturday we had a twinship freak out moment! We saw the word “twinship” in the ALLURE magazine article, featuring our favorite twinship, Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen. So of course we lost it! Apart from referring to ourselves as “the twinship” or “a twinship,”  we’ve NEVER seen “twinship” in print, ever!

You see, when we first started our blog, a friend advised us to come up with a “Feven & Helena” term, something simple and original. After a few really bad ideas, we came up with twinship from two words: twin and friendship. So you can imagine our excitement to see it in ALLURE!

We were so inspired by ALLURE’s black and white photo of Mark-Kate and Ashley that we “tried ” to recreate it at home. Two things we learned during the process: 1) we need to get photoshop and 2) low messy buns are not our best look! We actually wanted to burn these photos, but in true twinship fashion, we had to share!

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen look incredible in the issue and their bond is something we completely relate to! Click here for more info on the cover shoot and to learn more about their new fragrance, Nirvana White and Nirvana Black.

By the way, if we were all on Watch What Happens Live and “twinship” was the drinking game word, we would all be very tipsy!  We wrote “twinship” 9 times!

xoxo,

Feven & Helena #twinship

P.S. And now it’s 10!
