Lately we’ve been really loving all of these easy-breezy-beachy hairstyles for the summer. And so, at one of our most recent trips to our fav store Target we purchased the Conair You Curling Wand 1″-1.5″ and got to wavin’ it up last night (we know really exciting, right?).

At our first attempt to waving our hair and making it seem “beachy”  we discovered  a few things: 1) Divide and conquer, bombshell! You have to separate your hair and wave it in sections or you’ll end up missing some hair strands. No one wants that! 2) Make sure you heat up your wand at a temperature that works for your hair type. We have thicker hair so we could handle a little more heat then someone with thinner/shorter hair. 3) after you’re done waving your hair make sure to apply holding spray so that your waves don’t die down.

Here’s what we like about the Conair You Curling Wand: 1) It heats up within 30 seconds. 2) You can use it for all types of hair and it’s ceramic base so it won’t burn off your hair as seen here. 3) The curling wand has a temperature setting so you can control how much heat you want to apply to your hair. 4) Our hair was surprisingly fuller and had more body after the wand! Definatley bombshell approved!

The only con with the Conair You Curling Wand is — despite the little gloves they give you — you can easily burn your fingers while trying to wrap your hair around the wand. Yikes!

So, there it is! Here are some pics of our late night wand-evú! What do you think?
