MLK Wall: Feven & Helena

MLK Wall: Feven & Helena

A blog post from last year, but remains relevant today…

Living in L.A. we are often surrounded by interesting street art like this incredible and colorful mural by brazilian street artist, Eduardo Kobra. So, it seems fitting on this special day of service, we showcase this mural which honors one of the most transformational figures in the Civil Rights movement, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Let this day be a reminder of Dr. King’s message of peace, love and hope!

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

–Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Wearing another custom Twinship design from Feven’s trip to Ghana, check out our photos below!

  1. That’s is so incredibly awesome!

  2. What i like most about your blog is the fact that one can feel, through the pictures, your sisterly love. I think it’s a twin kind of thing cause my cousins are like that too like their mum says when one is sick it’s the other who feels the symptoms and explains them. I love your bond.
Who would’ve thought years ago that street painting will be considered a proper art and not just a pastime. Your pop of Ankara blues fit well with the mural and you are as beautiful as ever.
