Like processing film, let’s expose rather than conceal.

Photographer Peter Lindbergh has always been an inspiration to us. His photographs of supermodels on the beach in plain white shirts, shot in black and white reminds us of the days before filters and Photoshop.

Dare to be raw.

To us, his photography philosophy can be distilled into one word: raw. Now, don’t get us wrong, we love a filter here and there, but a little rawness can be just as interesting or if not more. Photoshop doesn’t always produce the best work, sometimes perfect can be boring. Like developing film, let’s expose rather than conceal.

p.s. this quote…

“My feeling is that for years now it has taken a much too big part in how women are being visually defined today. Heartless retouching should not be the chosen tool to represent women in the beginning of this century.”

Peter Lindbergh
