It’s the first day of December and “it’s beginning to look a lot like…Christmas!”
Growing up we lived for sacred moments in our sweet mother’s kitchen, sipping hot chocolate, listening to holiday music and baking holiday cookies made with love! Though we’re back in LA and the weather feels more like a lovely Spring day– nothing like a “winter wonderland” (but who’s complaining!), we decided to make hot chocolate and to bake gingerbread cookies as a way to ring in the holiday festivities!
We have to admit — we cheated a little bit and bought gingerbread mix from World Market at The Grove for only $3.99! And well…it was pretty easy and tastes amazing! All we had to do was add honey, butter, water and the gingerbread mix and BAM instant gingerbread cookies!
