Dare to be classic…

Beauty, Featured

In a world full of impractical trends, dare to remain classic.

If you’re anything like us, you probably spend most of your morning or night dming or sceen grabbing Instagram posts consisting of hilarious memes, fashion and makeup looks.

We’re not sure if it’s the Instagram algorithm, but lately the grams are either heavy makeup tutorials or impractical fashion trends. Most of our friends (and readers) know, we love a bold liquid eyeliner look paired with a glossy nude lip, but the contouring, overdrawn eyebrows, stage production makeup as day-to-day wear, is a definite no.

Oh, how we crave the 90s effortless glamour!

Which got us thinking, (in our are very best Carrie Bradshaw voice), is it us or is the world becoming more and more fantastically tacky?

As we work to be creditable authorities in beauty, our goal is clear: makeup should enhance your beauty, not conceal it.

What to except

In 2017, here is what you should expect from us:

More honest consistent conversations about beauty, business and lots of laughs!

We read somewhere, well, most likely saw it on Pinterest, that you “grow through, what you go through.” That’s what we aim to do this year: to embark on a journey of growth in the hopes of learning and sharing!

xoxo,

Feven & Helena #twinship

P.S. this shoot by Red Rosamond was inspired by one of our fave photographers, Peter Lindbergh. More to come.
