Twinship Bombshell of the Week: Robyn

Happy Friday, Bombshells!

This week’s twinship bombshell is the eccentric, cool, original, and independent, Swedish recording artist, Robyn.

Robyn first made her way into The Twinship music library with her 1997 hit song, Do You Know (What it Takes). Remember that music video? The blonde bob, the oversized pastel satin looking pajamas and metalic sofa? Yikes! Robyn’s style was fitting for the time but the blonde bob has definitely evolved (as well as her music) in a seriously fierce way!

In 2007 we were reintroduced to, Robyn, and her new sound with her song With Every Heartbeat from her self-titled fourth studio album, Robyn. And most recently you can catch The Twinship at the gym kicking butt on the treadmill to tracks from her recent albums Body Talk Part 1 & 2 & 3.

Robyn’s, lyrics and message of heartache, prevail, and independence wrapped up in a electric-pop-r&b-dance-beat still remains the same. Can we add, we love Dancing On My Own…#girls.

xoxo,

P.S.  For those of you who have asked, we used Hang With Me  for our  ‘New York, New York’ teaser. Love that song! “And if you do me right….I’m gonna do right by you!” — all a girl can ask for!
