Happy International’s Women’s Day to all our twinship bombshells out there! In celebration of the feminine habshesha style, we felt it was only fitting that this Twinship Closet  entry pay tribute to our  Eritrean culture.

With that said, The Twinship presents another Eritrean Chiffon dress made by our beautiful, Aunt Sagad. The “Urban Lights” at LACMA seemed like the best place to highlight her designs. Oh and, this is probably the only time you will ever see us dress exactly alike.

xoxo,

Our beauty philosophy is deeply rooted in our earliest memories as political refugees from Eritrea. Beauty to us is grace and resilience. As twin sisters, we share everything including our love for makeup and in particular eyeliner! We will never forget our teenage years as cashiers in high school saving up enough money to buy our favorite beauty brands.

  1. this is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!! Your aunt is so incredibly talented, those dresses are gorg! I know it’s Eritrean, but I can’t help to think it’s a bit reminiscent of a Greek Goddess as well! Beautiful shot – very editorial ladies!!!

Aunt Sagad isn’t the only Bombshell of the week! Happy womens day to you too! xo
