Though we’re not  “fashionistas” we do subscribe to the fashion bible also known as Vogue  and love to watch repeats of Sex & the City just to be inspired by the Carrie’s unexpected style. We mean how could you not love that tutu and tank ensemble?  Classic!

With that said, a few days ago, we decided to “shop our closet” and mix & match pieces we wore last spring that could easily transition to fall.

We came across these turtlenecks — if they thought familiar it’s because we totally wore them in our Nod to Mod piece —  and paired them with our skirts from spring.  Oh yes, recycle and reuse ’cause style does not have a  price tag!

Side mark: Is it just us, but do turtlenecks kind of remind you of the The Beatles? So random but Can’t Buy Me Love is officially stuck in our heads. #TBT
