The Twinship Top Ten Beauty Products

Beauty

Coco Chanel once said, “A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous…” and we couldn’t agree more!

Our definition of fabulous consist of our ‘Triple A Rules’:1) Affordable  2) Accessible  and  3) Attainable.

Being “fabulous” doesn’t mean going broke!

We have to admit it was really difficult narrowing our list to TEN but here it is — The Twinship Top Ten Beauty Products that make us feel fabulous.

Be sure to click on the product to get more information about where to find it.

Burts Bees

1. BURT’S BEES RADIANCE FACIAL DAILY CLEANSER | $10.00

It’s so important to wash your face before and after you apply any make-up. Burt’s Bees Radiance is so gentle on your skin and it doesn’t have any harsh chemicals. You can buy Burt’s Bees Products at most drugs store and of course at Whole Foods.

Cocoa Buter

2. COCOA BUTTER |$4.99

Cocao Butter — so simple, inexpensive and smooths out blemish marks while moisturizing your skin. We’ve used this for years on  face, hands and body and occasionally mix it with other store bought lotions.

Liquid eyeliner

3. ALMAY VERY BLACK liquid eyeliner | $7.99

We love eyeliner — it makes your eyes look more dramatic and alluring. Almay black liner is the best — it has a pointy liner that makes “drawing the line on your lid” so much easier and cleaner looking. It’s also hypoallergenic which is great for sensitive skin like ours.

Mascara

4. GREAT LASH MASCARA | $5.99

“Maybe she’s born with it?” Nope…it really is Maybelline! Great Lash Mascara instantly makes your eye lashes look longer and thicker and it doesn’t crumble! We prefer the curved brush for the “doll face” effect.

Mocorran Oil

5. MOROCCAN OIL | $42.00

Shiny hair is always sexy! Read our post ‘We Live for Moroccan Oil.’

ChanelChance

6. CHANEL PERFUME –  Feven wears  Coco Mademoiselle  &  Helena is a ‘Chance’ kind of girl…

A woman should always have a signature scent…it’s her way of saying…”I have arrived.” Chanel Perfume does just that and makes you feel like a lady.

Sun Power

7. SUN POWER Bronzer BY MAC | $29.99

We know we’re black but bronzer is where it’s at! (Didn’t mean to make that rhyme!) Bronzer helps to highlight your facial structure and gives you that “JLo” glow. We use bronzer almost everyday and for every season…glow not just in the summer time but all the time!

Mocha

8. MOCHA Lipstick by MAC | $15.00

Mocha lipstick moisturizes your lips and it is a great everyday subtle color.

Wood Wink

9. WOODWINK Eye Shadow by MAC | $15.00

Woodwink does the same as Mocha Lipstick — it’s an easy color that works on EVERY skin tone and gives you a subtle sparkle. You can apply this eyeshadow lightly for day and pack it on at night for a more obvious look. Oh, it can last for at least 2 -3 months.

Funny Bunny

10. FUNNY BUNNY OPI Nail Polish|$7.99

Read our post ‘Fifty Shades of Funny Bunny’ and find out why we heart this polish!

  1. Honestly , this list is amazing! I cannot live without my Woodwink. Whenever I wear it, people ALWAYS ask me what color I’m wearing! i love putting it in my creases of my eyes to give me that refreshed look. Also the almay liner is the BEST! I’ve tried mac and it smudges, even the expensive ones aren’t as good. This one stays on forever! LOVE IT girls! thanks

  3. My top ten, in no particular order:

    1) Oil of Olay ultra moisture bar soap: makes my skin so soft that I don’t even need to use body lotion

    2) Envy by Gucci eau de toilette: my signature scent since 1997; I’ve only gotten compliments from men and women, no complaints

    3) Essie nail polish in Up’s: best red nail polish ever, also my signature color

    4) bare minerals all over face color in Warmth: bronzer I use year-round

    5) Almay oil free eye makeup remover pads: no muss, no fuss!

    6) Benefit Bad Gal lash in black: fabulous mascara that gives my lashes length and volume unlike any other brand I’ve tried

    7) Sachajuan hair volume powder: ok, this one isn’t cheap, but it’s a great hair refresher and volumizer that works better than most dry shampoos and hair spray combined

    8) MAC lipstick in Sophisto: my everyday berry shade that feels great on lips and never bleeds. Plenty of other women must agree because it’s often sold out when I try to stock up!

    9) Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion: my mom introduced me to this in junior high school, great on all skin types

    10) Smashbox Brow Tech in Dark Brown: until a few years ago, I never paid much attention to my brows aside from plucking. This powder fills in my brows and frames my face perfectly.

    1. Wow. We love your choices. Clinique! Essie! Smashbox! They are all amazing companies. And we LOVE Benefit too- the founders are twins as I’m sure you know. #twinship! Thank you for sharing!
